This article explains how the Advocate platform enables users to manage their Cases for enhanced workflow efficiency.
What is a Case?
A Case is a centralized workspace that brings together all the insurance-related documentation, actions, and approvals needed for a specific loan. Some users might onboard one of their loans as one Case with multiple Assets, while another may choose to onboard their loans as separate Cases for each Asset.
What are the Components of a Case?
Cases are comprised of 7 consistent tabs and two conditional tabs.
Consistent Tabs: these appear on all Cases all the time.

Assets
Policies
Documents
Premium Recap
Benchmarks
Conditional Tabs: these appear on a Case if they are required by various asset and policy conditions.

How to Manage Cases
By clicking on the Cases icon in the sidebar, users can see the full list of all Cases assigned to them.
Users can also create new Cases from this location by clicking + Add Case.
The My Cases tab enables users to see their assigned cases and group, sort, or filter them based on various values.
In the Subscribed tab, users can see all Cases they have subscribed to and sort and filter them for easier actioning and monitoring.
The All Cases tab allows users to see all Cases they have access to in the platform.
From any of these tabs, the user can click on the Case Name and they will automatically be taken into the Case.
