Navigating the Case Dashboard and Case Overview Tab

This article will help users understand the layout and features of the Case dashboard and Case overview tab.

The Case Dashboard

  • Users can navigate to their Case Dashboard by clicking on the "Cases" icon in the sidebar.

This dashboard allows users to view and manage all cases assigned to them and their team.

From this dashboard, users can add new cases as well as filter and sort existing cases.

Users can group, sort, filter, and change the view for different cases based on different criteria.

  • Group

    • Click "Group".

    • Select how to group the cases, i.e. by "assigned".

    • The view will change and the cases will be in groups based on the case owner.

  • Sort — users can sort the case view by case ID and Case name in ascending, descending and alphabetical order.

  • Filter — if users want to filter their team's cases by Insured Group:

    • Click "Filter".

    • Select "Insured Group" is.

    • Choose the desired Insured Group.

  • View — enables users to change the case fields visible on their dashboard.

Individual Case Overview Tab

When an individual case is selected, the Platform will navigate the user to that Case's "overview" tab.

The case overview tab functions as a quick reference for key case data aggregation. This tab is divided into sections to allow users quick access to the case information they need.

The Tasks section allows the user to see all tasks related to the case, who the task is assigned to, the status of the task, and when it's due.

Users can also create new tasks from this tab.

The Activity section provides users with a space to leave internal and external comments, as well as see when changes have been made to various sections of the case.

The Compliance Score section allows users to quickly view the progression of the compliance process for the case.

The Risk Profiles section shows which risk profile the case uses.

The Participants section lists all persons inside the user's organization assigned to the case. Participants can be changed and their tasks reassigned by clicking directly on the name and selecting the new owner.

The Insurance Contacts section enables users to add any relevant contacts to the case, be it Brokers, Borrowers, or other.

The Details section provides an overview of other information relevant to the Case, such as loan maturity date, loan term, certificate holder, escrowed status, and name of Insured.
