Understanding Reports

This article shows users where to find the Reports built into Advocate, what each report communicates, and how to filter, customize, and export them.

This article will help users understand where to access the various Reports built into the Advocate Platform so they can be leveraged for Case Portfolio management.

What the Reports Showcase

  1. The Compliance Reports show where insurance requirements are unmet, by policy or by case and provide a bigger picture of how compliant your portfolio is.

  2. The Price Benchmarking Reports allow users to compare your portfolio's premiums against the Market rates.

A. The Reports Dashboard

The Reports Dashboard provides a quick view of the various Benchmarking and Compliance reports available for your portfolio.

B. Enhance Your Portfolio Management

Every report reads live data. There is nothing to build, schedule, or refresh. Manage your Case Portfolio by customizing these reports and exporting them.

Price Benchmarking Reports:

  1. Price Detail — real-time market pricing for your portfolio. Rates are RoL per $1,000 of coverage.

  2. Price Scatter — each benchmarked policy plotted by days to renewal and its price gap to the market median.

Portfolio Reporting:

  1. Policy Compliance Report — every policy in your book with its requirement compliance score, expiration, and owning case.

  2. Case Compliance Report — every case in your book with its compliance score, assets, policies, and owner.

C. Filters and View Adjustments

Each report has its own set of filters and view adjustments to allow users to customize the data view at any time before exporting.

  • The “Filters” control the whole data set that will be viewed by the report. "Filters" allow users to hone in on the specific data points they want to view in the report at any given time.

  • The "View" is the combination of Case and/or Compliance values you wish to view on the report. The “View” correlates to which columns will be visible on the exported excel sheet.

D. Exporting Reports

Reports can be exported at any time before or after customization by clicking "Export".
