Understanding the Policies Tab

This article will explain the information and features available on the Policies tab in the Advocate Platform.

What Information is Available on This Tab?

  • Policy Status – The current Policy statuses are displayed in the first column.

  • Insurance Product – This column shows the Policy name/type for all policies on the Case.

  • Policy Number – This column shows the number assigned to each Policy by the Carrier.

  • Effective Date – This column shows the Policy effective date.

  • Expiration Date - This column shows the Policy's expiration date.

    • Expired Policies are flagged with a red expiration date so they’re easy to distinguish.

    • When a Policy expires, it is automatically excluded from the Case Compliance Score calculation. Its policy score clears in the Policies tab, and the Compliance tab resets until a new term or Policy is created.

  • Score – This column shows the compliance check list score for each Policy.

    • If a Policy has 22 required field values to reach compliance and only 3 are filled in on the check list, the score will show 3/22 for that Policy.

  • Assets – Hover over the icon to see which Case Asset is associated with each Policy.

  • Participants – Hover over the icon to see which brokers or borrowers are associated with each Policy.

  • Last Updated – This column shows the date, time, and entity that last saved changes to a Policy.
